Constantly varied, functional movements executed at high intensity. Workouts are typically short and intense, generally lasting 20 minutes or less. They are designed to increase work capacity across broad time and modal domains. They combine movements such as sprinting, rowing, jumping rope, flipping tires, weightlifting, carrying heavy objects, and many bodyweight exercises. We use barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, gymnastics rings, pull-up bars, medicine balls, and boxes. These elements are mixed in numerous combinations to form the prescribed “Workout of the Day” or “WOD”. The classes are an hour long and typically include a warm-up, skill development session, the WOD, and some mobility. Performance on each WOD is scored to track your progress and provide friendly competition.
Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist. Our CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs. The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Soldiers, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen.

Our CrossFit Fireside community includes members between the ages of 10 to 70+, with each individual at varying fitness levels and backgrounds. One of the biggest myths is that you have to be at a certain fitness caliber to join CrossFit. CrossFit is optimized fitness for everyone.
What makes CrossFit Fireside different is the community based fitness. We are not a place where you reluctantly go after work, plug in your headphones to avoid unwanted interaction and do the same old routine.
At CrossFit Fireside we strive to make your classes the best hour of your day. It is the place you look forward to going to unwind and release. It is place that you are more than just a face in the crowd, everyone knows your name, a place where you feel a sense of belonging. You are a part of the community; you are a part of something greater than yourself.
We offer close to 40 CrossFit classes a week to accommodate varying schedules. Some classes even have organized childcare in a dedicated areas for our growing families. All classes are led by high level coaches to insure each individual’s safety and development. Though each individual coach brings their own personality and spunk, no matter which classes you attend, you will receive consistency as far as class structure, methodology, and expectation of service. Also, all classes are limited to a certain number of athletes to maintain the highest level of attention and coaching for each individual necessary for their best safety and success.
